High school football games moved up for Irene

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The South Carolina High School League says more than two dozen football games in the state have been moved up a day because of Hurricane Irene.
The League says 26 games will be played Thursday night instead of Friday, largely at schools along the coast, from Hilton Head Island through Charleston and up to the Grand Strand.
The latest projection for Hurricane Irene calls for the center of the storm to miss the South Carolina coast this weekend as it tracks east and north. But it still could bring increased rain and winds to the coast.
