Crews Begin to Clean up Damage Irma Left Behind
ACOLUMBIA,SC (WOLO)- The day after Irma, crews were out cleaning up the destruction it left behind.
“They’ve been working all day and have done a really good job,” homeowner, Sullivan Cooper said.
Cooper is just one of the many Midlands residents whose home took a beating from Irma on MMonday.
“I’ve been trying to salvage stuff inside that got wet from the rain that came in last night, it was dripping through the ceiling into the light fixers,” Cooper said. “Instillation had come out of the ceiling.”
The clean up was vigorous. Crews working around the clock to put homeowners at ease.
“We’ve been going all weekend doing it, and hopefully this is the end of it.” Express Tree Care employee, Will hunt said.
