Lexington deputies search for suspect wanted for armed robbery

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) –

Lexington county deputies need your help identifying a man caught on camera robbing a Midlands hotel at gunpoint. Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department say the suspect pointed a gun at a Baymont hotel employee, located on Zimalcrest drive, and demanded money just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday. The robber then took off on foot back the way he came towards the interstate. The suspect is described as a white male with a mustache and soul-patch wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and Nike sneakers.
