SC AG Alan Wilson calls on Costco to drop DEI

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson is calling on Costco to abandon its DEI policy.

Last week the big box retailer Costco’s shareholders overwhelmingly voted down an investor proposal from a conservative think tank that it end its diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

The vote came just after President Donald Trump ended all DEI practices in the federal government.

Wilson says the policies amount to racial discrimination.
