Equifax CEO Resigns

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The more than 2.3 million South Carolinians that had personal information compromised in the Equifax data breach are not the only ones doing some serious shredding.

Equifax says CEO Richard Smith is being replaced following the security breach that jeopardize Millions of people’s personal information.

The announcement came this afternoon. Paulino Do Rego Barros has been chosen to serve as the Interim
CEO.
