Orangeburg Shootout Leaves One Dead; Others Injured

Orangeburg, SC. (WOLO) — Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says three men were shot after a officials say there was an exchange of gunfire at a residence in Santee. According to Deputies,  the incident happened around 10:30 Tuesday night.

Officials say they responded to the home after hearing someone reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from in the 93 hundred block of Old Number Six Road.

Authorities say they arrived at the residence to find three men,  with what appeared to be gunshot wounds laying on the ground in the back yard of the home. Deputies say one of them, a 24 year old was dead when officials arrived at the scene.

The remaining two victims were taken to an area hospital. The condition of those victims are still unknown at this time.
