SC Supreme Court to hear arguments in Planned Parenthood lawsuit

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina’s abortion laws are going back to court.

South Carolina’s Supreme Court justices will hear oral arguments in a lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood.

The lawsuit asserts that the current ban should be interpreted as abortion should be allowed through 9 weeks of pregnancy rather than 6 as interpreted by the court previously.

The hearing will take place at 10:30 on Wednesday morning.
