CFD Finds Body During House Fire

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- Columbia Fire officials are investigating after a body was found inside a home Sunday morning.

The fire happened at 2:50am on Rockymount Road. During fire operations a body was located inside the home.

Richland County Fire Marshal determined the cause of the fire was unattended smoking.

This fire remains under investigation.
