Lancaster man pleads guilty to murder

LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) — A Lancaster man has pleaded guilty to murder in the 2011 shooting death of a man. The Herald of Rock Hill reported (http://bit.ly/19e1jgf) that 31-year-old Junior Lee Kiker Jr. also pleaded guilty to armed robbery, burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Kiker’s plea came as his trial was scheduled to begin Monday. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Forty-one-year-old David Brazzell was killed in July 2011 at his home. Brazzell’s ex-girlfriend, Samantha Diane Humphries and Cameron Leroy Maier also are charged in the case and are awaiting trial. ___ Information from: The Herald, http://www.heraldonline.com
