SC DOT prepares for any potential winter weather, monitoring conditions especially in Upstate

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The South Carolina Department of Transportation is preparing for any possible winter weather this week.

SC DOT officials say they will continue to prepare and monitor the weather. In parts of the state where potential impacts are expected, especially in the Upstate, transportation crews may be out spraying salt brine or salting the roadways.
