Teen accused of stabbing another teen on Tuesday, RCSD says

 

 

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have arrested a teen accused of stabbing another teen on Tuesday, says RCSD.

Investigators say an incident happened at a home on Pleasant Ridge Drive, where deputies say a 14-year-old stabbed a 15-year-old on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department says during a physical altercation, the 14-year-old picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim.

The 15-year-old was taken to a hospital and the 14-year-old was later arrested at their home.

The 14-year-old is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The teen was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ).
