Lights On Rally

Camden, SC (Kershaw County School District)-Baron DeKalb Elementary (BDK) will hold ant auction and open house October 17th as part of the national Lights On Afterschool rally.   Started in 2000, the national celebration draws attention to the need for more high quality afterschool programs in the United States.   BDK’s afterschool program is nine years old and was created using funds from a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant from the U.S. Department of Education.The celebration will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and also feature a performance by the BDK chorus.
