CVS to open pharmacy only locations

(CNN)– CVS wants to grow itself by shrinking.

It’s opening roughly a dozen stores this year that have only a pharmacy and are about the half the size of the normal layout.

The company says those stores won’t have the part of the store that usually sells snacks, makeup, cards and other things.

CVS says a smaller format store will have a full-service pharmacy as well as some over-the-counter products.
