Phone Scam Hits South Carolina

Columbia, SC (Atty. Gen. Alan Wilson)-South Carolina’s top attorney wants to warn you about a phone scam that’s targeting utility customers.  The callers say an immediate payment is needed to avoid disconnection.  The customer is given instructions to send money.  Tomorrow, Attorney General Alan Wilson is expected to announce a request for an official Sled investigation into the matter.
