Dog Theft In Lexington, Search For Suspect Continues

Lexington, SC (Lexington County Sheriffs Department)-Deputies are searching for a girl, who is accused of taking a dog from a West Columbia animal adoption center. These surveillance photos were taken from Pets Inc. Wednesday.  The girl appears to be wearing a high school Junior R-O-T-C uniform.  The Sheriff’s Department says she was accompanied by a man, who is believed to be her father.  That man allegedly asked workers if he could take the four-year-old, black, brown and white chihuahua named Pixie Trixie for a walk.  But authorities say the two got into a car instead and drove off with the dog.  If you recognize the girl, you’re asked to call Crimestoppers at one-triple-eight-crime-s-c.
