Suspect In Custody Following Newberry Co. Stand-Off

Newberry Co., S.C. (WOLO)–  One man is in custody and a woman is safe after a stand-off in Newberry County Wednesday morning.
Investigators say Morris Peters was arrested after a two and a half hour stand off at his ex girlfriends home, during which they say he fired on deputies.
No one was injured in the stand off.
Peters is charged with burglary and 3 counts of attempted murder for the shot fired at the officers.
