Man charged in Rock Hill killing 2 years ago

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) — Police say they have found the person who they think killed a man in the Kmart parking lot in Rock Hill nearly two years ago.

Authorities say they were led to 26-year-old Eduardo Hernandez, of Red Springs, N.C., by another man who was charged in the killing. Hernandez is charged with murder.

Juan Gonzalez recently pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in 36-year-old Hector Haro’s death and agreed to cooperate with investigators.

Police say Haro was shot over a $7,000 debt over the sale of a trailer.

It wasn’t clear if Hernandez had an attorney.
