Voters head to polls for Town of Irmo Special Election

Voters in Irmo are headed to the polls Tuesday for a special election Crysty Vaughan has details

IRMO, SC (WOLO)–Voters in Irmo are headed to the polls Tuesday for a special election.
The Town of Irmo is filling a vacant council seat.
The three candidates running for the seat include Irmo events committee Chair George Frazier, former SCANA Executive Ed Greco and cybersecurity expert Mike Ward.

The seat was left vacant after former councilman Erik Sickinger resigned, following an arrest.
Police say he was accused of criminal sexual conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Polls are open 7am- 7 p-m.
