President Trump issues travel ban to the U.S. to a dozen countries

(CNN) — Wednesday night president Donald Trump issued a travel ban to the United States from a dozen countries.
The president says the ban is fueled by security concerns, further motivated by the recent flamethrower attack in boulder, colorado.

Those blocked include nations like libya, sudan, yemen, somalia, afghanistan and iran.
Additionally places like Chad, Eritrea, Myanmar, Republic of the Congo and Haiti are on the list as well.

According to the President, the proclamation includes exceptions for lawful permanent residents, existing visa holders, certain visa categories and individuals whose entry serves us national interests. President Trump’s new travel ban also includes partial restrictions for those from seven additional countries.
