What in the world with Doug Currin

n tonight’s What in the World File: Time for parents and kids to listen up. Ha. That’s everyone. Anyways, when you go to name your kid, do you float names with people first? My wife and I did not, because everyone has a problem with a name and that’s just not good juju. Plus, you’ll need to find a name that doesn’t get your child bullied at school, and that won’t make them resent you forever. Also,  fun fact, I didn’t like my first name so much that I changed it when I was 13.

Now, the U.S. has relatively laxed naming laws. But, the rest of the world is pretty strict and the powers that be have made a list of illegal names that cannot be printed on a birth certificate.
let’s bring up the list shall we?

Here are illegal names in the U.S.: King, Queen, Jesus Christ, III, Santa Claus, Majesty, Adolf Hitler, Messiah, @ and 1069. Now,  if you’re wondering about 1069, it was banned in the U.S because a man in 1975 tried to change his name to these numbers, and the courts in North Dakota and Minnesota ruled that names composed solely of numbers could confuse legal and administrative systems. So, that’s a no from them dawg.
