Forest Acres Police and the Richland County Fire Marshal are investigating a fatal house fire.
Firefighters responded to the home on the 3500 block of Verner Street early Sunday morning. Firefighters say they discovered a body in a front bedroom.
According to police, an autopsy found no obvious signs of foul play.
The Richland County Fire Marshal continues to investigate the cause.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation has reopened traffic on I-20 after the overpass was demolished when a tractor trailer struck it over the weekend.
SC DOT reports that contractors demolished and removed the bridge structure damaged in the tanker crash and fire.
SC DOT officials say the bridge on Old Vaucluse Road was a total loss and they will begin work on a bridge replacement plan.
Detours are in place.
