Orangeburg Co. coroner identifies person dead after motor vehicle vs pedestrian collision

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person fatally wounded after a motor vehicle vs pedestrian collision on Belleville Road.

The collision happened on Sunday, June 15, about five miles north of Orangeburg.

Coroner Sean Fogle identified the person as 37-year-old Martell Riley of Chitwood Street in Orangeburg.

Riley died due to blunt force injuries sustained during the collision, according to Coroner Fogle.
