Day 1 of their reign — meet the new Miss South Carolina, Miss South Carolina’s Teen

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — A new Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina’s Teen were announced to packed audiences at Township Auditorium over the weekend.

Sunday morning’s press conference marked Day 1 for their year-long reign.

Sarah Kay Wrenn, Miss Lake Murray, took the crown for Miss South Carolina and will go onto compete for the title of Miss America in September.

Tess Ferm, Miss Charleston’s Teen, took the title of Miss South Carolina’s Teen — also competing in Miss America’s Teen in September.

Wrenn and Ferm spoke with ABC Columbia’s Austin Page and explained what they’re most looking forward to in the days to come.
