Lexington-Richland School District Five hosts ceremony for new classroom wing at Chapin Elem.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Lexington-Richland School District Five is expanding at one of its elementary schools.

On Tuesday, the district hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new classroom wing at Chapin Elementary School.
Officials say the new wing will help the district expand educational programs they are implementing in 2026.

Students in Lexington-Richland School District Five head back to class Thursday.
