Local Living: Boo at the Zoo, Boo Bash, annual trunk-or-treat event, barbecue cook-off

LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, get ready for a scary good time at Riverbanks’ annual Boo at the Zoo.
It’s from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night starting Friday, October 17, to Thursday, October 30.
You and the family can enjoy trick-or-treating, magic shows, and the new haunted hideaway igloos.
Gaston Police are hosting their 2nd Boo Bash next Saturday, October 25.
It’s from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Gaston Town Hall.
Bring the kids in their best costumes for a fun trick-or-treating experience.
There will be many vendors in attendance, and the event is free to attend.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is hosting their annual trunk-or-treat this month.
There will be a hay ride, hotdogs, drinks, and of course plenty of candy.
The free event takes place Thursday, October 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the sheriff’s office on North Main Street.
Sumter County deputies have also postponed their barbecue cook-off and car show.
The event is now on November 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sumter County Civic Center.
