Fallen officers remembered at annual memorial service

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – Wednesday local officers were remembered at an annual memorial service.

The service took place at the Lexington County Courthouse on Main Street.

Sherriff Jay Koon says today’s ceremony is a reminder of the commitment law enforcement officers make to serve their community saying, “We don’t take going home at night for granted.”
