Law enforcement arrives to begin Special Olympics Torch Run

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Law enforcement officers from across the state arrived in Columbia Friday (5/11) for the annual “Special Olympics Torch Run”.

The South Carolina Special Olympics gets underway Saturday.

Officers we spoke with say its the least they can do for our state’s bravest athletes.

2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics.
