Lexington County coroner identifies person who died after single-vehicle collision
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died after a single-vehicle collision on Thursday, said officials.
According to the coroner’s office, the collision happened in the 2800 block of Calks Ferry Road in the Lexington area on Thursday, October 23, around 9:15 p.m.
Coroner Fisher said, Byron Paul Gunter, 37, of Lexington, was traveling eastbound on Calks Ferry Road when he left the right side of the roadway, and struck a tree.
Gunter was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
