eBay making comeback thanks to Ai

(CNN)– eBay, one of the internet’s original shopping sites, is reinventing itself using artificial intelligence.

By 2020, the company had lost its position as the second largest e-commerce platform to Walmart, the top spot belonging to Amazon.

But eBay then got a boost during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Now, the 30 year old online marketplace is making moves to build on that momentum by investing in Ai.

This year, eBay has introduced five new Ai features.
