AP: Mark Hammond projected GOP nominee

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – Secretary of State Mark Hammond is one step closer to a second term in office.

The AP reported that Hammond defeated Nelson Faerber, Joshua Putnam and Kerry Wood this evening in the GOP Primary.

Hammond will face Melvin Whittenburg in the general election.
