Man arrested in the Whitmire area on multiple drug charges

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster says deputies conducted an operation in the Whitmire area that resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old man.

Ty-Ricke Rae-Quon Praylow, of Prosperity was arrested on multiple drug charges.

Deputies say Praylow was found with a handgun which by law and due to his past record he is prohibited from possessing.

In addition to his charges, he was issued tickets for failure to register vehicle, improper display of license plate, operating an uninsured vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Praylow was taken to the Newberry County Detention Center, where he remains pending further judicial proceedings.
