9 new cases of measles reported in SC
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Dept. of Health reports that more measles cases continue to climb in the state connected to the Upstate Outbreak.
According to the SCDPH, there are 9 new cases of measles in the state since Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
The 9 additional cases now brings the total number of cases in SC related to the outbreak to 185.
Four of the new cases were known household exposures, one resulted from a previously reported school exposure, the source of three cases is unknown, and one is still being investigated.
Officials say there are currently 223 people in quarantine and three in isolation.
