Columbia, SC (WOLO) —Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin will lead a Delegation of the US Conference of Mayors to the El Paso,  Texas border.

Benjamin is the newly elected President of the Conference.  ABC Columbia caught up with the Mayor at the Columbia Metro Airport as he prepared to leave for the trip. Find out what he had to say before departing.
