Attorney General Alan Wilson releases annual Human Trafficking Task Force Report

 

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– On Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, Attorney General Alan Wilson released the annual Human Trafficking Task Force Report.

According to Wilson, in 2025 SLED investigated more than 300 tips, most of which included children.

Wilson says they found cases of human trafficking in all but five South Carolina counties with the most taking part in Greenville, Charleston, and Berkeley counties.

Richland and Lexington counties were also near the top.
