State Health officials: SC woman dies of hypothermia in relation to winter storm

GREENWOOD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) has confirmed there has been a winter storm-related death in the state.
Officials say a 96-year-old woman in Greenwood county died of hypothermia.
The Greenwood County Coroner’s office has not released the woman’s identity.
At least 29 additional deaths have been reported, in several states nationwide, in relation to the winter storm.
