“Stand your ground law” at center of controversy over deadly parking space shooting

(WOLO, ABC NEWS) – An argument sparked over a parking space turned deadly in Florida and some are questioning whether the gunman caught on camera shooting a father in front of his young son was justified.

The “stand your ground law” is at the center of the debate. It pertains to someone’s right to shoot in self defense that’s legal in several states, in varying versions, including in South Carolina.
