26 million employees to miss work on Super Bowl Monday

 

 

 

(CNN)– Record number of U.S. employees plan to miss work the Monday after the Super Bowl.

That’s according to a survey from workforce platform UKG.

It estimates 26.2 million people will be absent.

That beats last year’s record by about four million.

Most survey respondents say they’re using PTO or swapping shifts.

About five million say they’ll call in sick or just not show up.
