Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to testify in social media trial

(CNN)– Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is set to face what could be his most critical audience yet.

He is scheduled to testify in Los Angeles Weds, Feb. 18, 2026, in a lawsuit brought by a woman and her mother.

The now 20-year-old claims Instagram and Youtube purposefully designed features on their platforms to addict young users.

She says she became addicted as a child and it harmed her mental health.

Zuckerberg is no stranger to being grilled.

Two years ago, he apologized to grieving parents who said social media contributed to their children’s deaths.

But, that was in front of the Senate.

This time, he’ll have to convince a jury.
