Contract awarded to Health Management Associates

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of Columbia has contracted a company in hopes of improving services and support for the homeless.

Officials with the city say it has awarded a contract to Health Management Associates.

Officials say through this collaboration, the consulting team will work alongside service providers, community stakeholders, and individuals with lived experience to better understand current needs and opportunities for improvement.

The group’s first meeting will be March 17.
