SC Senate passes bill to cut state’s boat property taxes

(CNN)– The state Senate passed a bill to cut the state’s boat property taxes.

It cuts the highest-in-the-nation boat property taxes by nearly 50% and establishes the simple principle of “one boat, one bill.”

The measure now heads to the SC House before it can be signed into law by Governor McMaster.
