SLED: Three charged after drug deal leads to shooting in Saluda Co.

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Investigators with SLED say on May 2, 2025 officers with the Saluda Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at a home.

SLED says an investigation revealed Angel Lopez and others arrived earlier for the purposes of conducting a marijuana transaction which ultimately resulted in an exchange of gunfire.

Investigators say multiple homes and vehicles were hit with gunfire.

According to officials, Reyes is charged with Discharging Firearms into a Dwelling, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature.

A second suspect, Celso Romero-Lezama, is charged with with Accessory After the Fact and Criminal Conspiracy.

Tobias was charged with Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature.
