SLED: Lexington Co. man charged with illegal gambling
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Investigators with SLED say a Lexington Co. man is accused of having illegal gambling machines in his home.
Officials say on March 2nd 18 machines were found in a residence in Gaston belonging to Walter Hicks.
Investigators say the machines were identified as “Pot o’ Gold” gaming machines offering various forms of blackjack, keno, and poker.
SLED says Hicks is charged with Unlawful Possession/Operation of a Slot, Video, Vending Machine or Gambling Device, and Unlawful Games and Betting.
