ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan to be featured in film

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Hollywood has come to town here in the Midlands.

This week brother Film-makers Steven and Daniel Fisher from Fisher Films began filming their next Christmas movie in Lexington, called Christmas Curtain Call.

We were on set where they spoke about how one of Lexington’s theatres, the Village Square Theatre plays a huge part in the film.

The Fishers, who also produced Christmas at Xander Point which was shot in Newberry are working with local talent, including ABC Columbia’s very own Tyler Ryan, who, of course, plays a central character.

Tyler’s character is the heel that wants to close the local theater for personal gain.

Daniel Fisher says the film will be out in time for the 2026 Christmas season.

Shooting in Lexington is taking place throughout this week, and will wrap Saturday, March 28.

And of course we can’t wait to see Tyler on the big screen with his undiscovered talent as a scoundrel.
