Local Living: Read Freely Fest, Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo, Fire Truck Pull, Dine on the Dam
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Read Freely Fest returns to the Richland Library this weekend.
The free event features talks with best-selling authors, book signings, and interactive activities that take you beyond the pages.
This year’s lineup includes Congressman James Clyburn.
It takes place Friday, March 27, through Sunday, March 29.
The Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo is riding back to the Midlands this weekend.
The shows are on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. each night at the Colonial Life Arena.
There will be a pre-show for the family from 6 to 7 filled with pony rides, meet and greets and more.
The 13th annual Fire Truck Pull is coming back this Saturday, March 28.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with the competition starting at 10 a.m. on Hampton Street.
Teams will square off to see who can pull a Columbia Fire Truck 50 feet, all to raise funds for curing kids cancer.
It’s time to Dine on the Dam again this weekend.
The annual event starts this Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lake Murray Dam.
The event hosted by the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center is a unique chance for diners to Dine on the Dam while overlooking the lake.
