5 charged with armed burglaries

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Clarendon County deputies have arrested five men for a string of armed burglaries that took place over several months.

According to investigators, the suspects were armed with handguns and an AK47 style pistol.

During the burglaries, authorities say they stole multiple firearms, high value jewelry and electronics.

Each suspect is charged with multiple counts of burglary among other charges.

They’re being held at the Clarendon County Detention Center.
