Sumter Co. deputies searching for teen last seen on Friday

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies with the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office are searching for a teen last seen on Friday, says the sheriff’s office.

Authorities say 16-year-old Markel Spann was last seen at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 27, at the Lakewood convenience store on Old Manning Road.

Additionally, law enforcement say the teen has communicated with his family, but his whereabouts is unknown.
