Columbia Police arrest woman accused of fatally shooting boyfriend

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–Columbia Police have arrested a woman accused of fatally shooting her boyfriend last week.

56-year-old Toni Middleton is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

According to investigators, on Wednesday, March 25 Middleton shot and killed her boyfriend 65-year-old Perry Buchanan at the Gable Oaks Apartments on Colleton Street.

The motive remains under investigation.

She’s being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
