Deputies: Two charged in Richland Co. shooting

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Co. deputies say two men are in custody in connection with a recent shooting.

Investigators say at 12:30am on March 21st deputies responded to Gusty Lane after multiple shots were fired.

When deputies arrived, officials say numerous witnesses, including children lead them to a man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim has since been treated and released from the hospital.

Deputies say the investigation revealed the shooting stemmed from an argument between Allen Garner, 18, Mario Hooks, 18 and the victim.

Garner is charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
