Wilson Headlines All-American Game

(WOLO) — Heathwood Hall prep star A’ja Wilson headlined Wednesday night’s McDonald’s All-American girls basketball game at the United Center in Chicago. Wilson scored 10 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and blocked 4 shots, but her East team lost 80-78 to the West. Wilson, the #1-rated recruit in the country, was featured on ESPNU’s live telecast. The 6’4 phenom was the only player in the game who has yet to make her college commitment. Wilson will decide between USC, UNC, UConn and Tennessee on April 16th. She will make the decision on ESPNU. Two future Gamecocks joined Wilson on the East team in Chicago. Point guard Bianca Cuevas (Bronx, NY) and forward Jatarie White (Charlotte, NC).
