Dominion Energy to perform line work across I-77 near Blythewood

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Dominion Energy says contractors will install new power lines across Interstate 77 near Blythewood this weekend.

Crews will install new lines around 1.3 miles north of Exit 24 (U.S. Highway 21/Wilson Boulevard).

The company says work will begin at noon on Saturday, April 11, and will continue until noon on Sunday, April 12.

Motorists may experience brief delays as flaggers direct traffic near the work zone.

Dominion Energy urges all drivers to slow down and use caution while traveling in the area.
